The original masters of make up from early in their ‘unmasked’ period. Many of the bands fans reacted strongly when they decided to wipe off the greasepaint but Kiss were undeterred and their first album as themselves ‘Lick It Up’ proved them right. It went Platinum and introduced their heavy rock sound to a new generation. Ace Frehley had left and this is the line up that saw Kiss re-establish themselves as rock royalty.

This is a rare glimpse of the short-lived line up of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Carr, and Vinnie Vincent.
