Steven Victor Tallarico aka Steven Tyler.  One half of Aerosmith’s legendary ‘Toxic Twins’, who were named for their legendary medication abuse.  In 1984 Tyler heard an old Aerosmith song on the radio and suggested to the band they record a cover version of it.  His fellow toxic twin Joe Perry told him “It’s us fuckhead”.  Both men got clean shortly thereafter.  Which is just as well as Tyler and Aerosmith have gone on to sell more than 150 million records around the world.  Tyler has won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, and an Emmy award.  Aerosmith have had nine number one hits, 25 gold, 18 platinum, and 12 multi-platinum albums.  Tyler is included among Rolling Stone‘s ‘100 Greatest Singers’ and together with his band Aerosmith, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
